Beautiful Norris Lake

It's water over Norris Dam April 28, 2011

It's kind of a rare event for Norris Dam to spill water over the top. They have done this a small number of times over the years. We have had a tremendous amount of rain this year with all the stormy weather. The foliage is greener than I have seen it in years. The lake is up to the tree line, and I cannot remember the lake more beautiful than it was today. If you have never been on Norris Lake you are in for a treat especially when the lake is up like it is now.
